Mom and I are participating in this year's Walk to End Alzheimer's again! We do this in honor and memory of Rita Mathews: wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, friend, and devout daughter of God. While I would love for every person reading this to join our team, the short and simple gestures go a long way; prayers are a beautiful way to contribute, as are $5 donations, a quick post share on social media, or simply taking a moment to learn more about Alzheimer's, the Alzheimer's Association, and ways we can fight this together.
I encourage you to prayerfully consider supporting in any of the following ways:
- Join our team and walk with us in Pittsburgh the morning of the event!
- Join our team and encourage support WITHOUT attending the event
- Financially support our team's efforts with as little as $5 or whatever you feel lead to contribute
- Mention this event and honorary fundraising effort to others
- Simply pray for those affected by Alzheimer's, take a moment to learn more about the disease and the Alzheimer's Association, and keep an open heart to ways you may be called to respond to this disease now and in the future
Thank you and God bless,
Lauren
