This year I'm putting a team together to walk in Altoona on October, 5.  This is a very emotional topic for me and my family as my grandmother had Alzheimer's and now my father with a form a Dementia/Alzheimers.  For those of you that know me, my parents are two of my best friends.  My dad has helped me with more things I can count, taught me endless life skills, and most importantly is a perfect example of how someone can continue to grow and evolve as they age.  Just like when I was kid, I still want to be like my dad.

So not to be long winded, if you are able to, sign up and come join me and my family on October 5th.  Just like so many diseases out there, the money we raise may not help people today, but hopefully a generation soon will not have to experience this.

Sorry, one last thing.  Why is the team name Tricky Trex?  My dad's nickname in the Navy was Tricky and I do not think there is a Trexler out there that has not been called Trex.
