Hello Again Everyone.  Another year has gone by and we are preparing for our EIGHTH Walk in support of my Mom who continues her fight against Alzheimer's.  In past years Ronnie, Matt, Alex, Justin and I, along with my parents, cousins and friends have walked, and we hope you will join us in November at Citizen’s Bank Park. Last year we raised over $26,000 and were #1 in the Philadelphia Walk (for the first time), so this year we are shooting for $27,500.

This year I have become involved with Advocacy for the association, and some significant progress has been made. Last June it was announced that Medicare would cover some new drugs for early stage ALZ. We were involved at the Federal level in educating CMS (Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services) to start coverage, and at the State level to push awareness that will better educate physicians and patients so they get timely diagnoses and thus treatment is most effective in slowing this terrible disease in individuals.

Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease. Please make a donation to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.
