I will once again be participating in the WALK TO END ALZHEIMER'S. We have lost 6 members of the Haas family, including my husband, to this incurable disease. Our daughter has the PSEN1 genetic mutation for Early-Onset Alzheimer’s and has currently been told she has MCI (mild cognitive impairment), and my son chooses not to be tested. It is my passion to do everything I can to help find a cure or preventive medication for this devastating disease. I will participate in this Walk until we find our first survivor and beyond.
By participating in the 2023 Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's™, I'm committed to raising awareness and funds for Alzheimer research, care and support. Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
If you would like to be a member of our Walk Team, "Angels Against Alzheimers," please feel free to register by clicking on "Join My Team" below. Our walk team is composed of people who are/or did provide care for a loved one with Alzheimer's, but we welcome all new members!
I need your support to do my part! Please make a donation to help the Alzheimer's Association by clicking on "Donate" below. Help us to advance research into prevention, treatments and a cure for Alzheimer's. For the millions already affected by the disease, the Association offers care, education, support and resources in communities nationwide.
Thank you for joining our movement! The end of Alzheimer's disease starts here.
