Hi,

Together with my Brightview Greentree co-workers we formed a team named the "Brightview Greentree Forget-Me-Nots". Our first walk was in 2018 when we attended the Walk to End Alzheimer's in Atlantic City. In 2020 and 2021 because of the Pandemic we chose to have the walk at Brightview Greentree so our residents could participate as well. It was a huge success!! In 2023 we again held the walk at our Brightview Greentree Senior Living Community. It was our best year yet raising over 4,500.00 making us the top Company Team in the South Jersey Shore Region. We are hoping to top this goal in 2024! We will hold the Walk at BrightView Greentree again and invite friends and family to join us. The walk will be in October date TBA and we will be having various fundraising events in the months before the walk as well.

My efforts are again in honor of my mother in-law Kathleen Kannegiser as I witnessed what this disease can do while she was living with us. But I'm also honoring  dear friends' sister who this diseased robbed us of, someone who was always making us laugh and was taken too young.

It is a great feeling to do something positive to aid in the fight against Alzheimer's and I am looking forward to doing it again this year. If anyone would like to join me that would be awesome! But if you can't and would like to make a donation it will be greatly appreciated.
