We appreciate our great walk team and all the support we receive from our family and friends. Our grandchildren have taken up the cause and support the walk every year. So many families are impacted by this crushing disease, and we are grateful to report that progress is being made on multiple fronts, especially in advocating for the care and support of those with Alzheimer's disease
Our parents did so much for us growing up and supporting us into adulthood and into the challenges of parenthood. It is from our parents where we first learned trust, responsibility and unconditional love. It was these same lessons that we learned from our parents who taught us how to be patient and how to remember what's important even when they could not.
We walk for our parents Mae Cerrito, Mickey Marchand, Larry Marchand and all the other parents, sisters, brothers & spouses who have to endure the pain of the loss of memories resulting in the sad indignity that Alzheimer's robs of us and our loved ones. Please help by supporting our team.
We are leading the way to Alzheimer's first survivor by participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's(R). Currently, more than 6 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
Together, we can end Alzheimer's disease. Please make a donation to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.
Thank you for joining the fight against Alzheimer's!
