Team LOVE  

Our team has been walking to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer's since 2010. Formed after my Mom's diagnosis, Team Gigi (Grandma Grayce) was my family's way to support the organization that does so much to support those with Alzheimer's and their caregivers. Sadly, Mom passed away in 2014. We continue to walk - for Gigi AND for all the others who bravely battle this disease. SO MANY of my dear friends have also been impacted -- several have lost parents or are caring for parents with dementia. To recognize and include all of our loved ones and caregivers, in 2017 we have changed our name to Team LOVE.  

Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. This is the only disease in the top ten which has no way to prevent, delay or cure.  Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease. 

There are many ways you can help!  Please make a donation to help the Alzheimer's Association advance research into prevention, treatments and a cure for Alzheimer's. You can donate online via the link, or by utilizing the mail in form to send a check made out to the Alzheimer's Association.
