Alzheimer’s isn’t stopping and neither are we. Hi, I'm Kristin Shullick and I am putting together a team to participate in the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s. I’m raising awareness and funds to advance the fight against this disease — funds that allow the Alzheimer’s Association to provide 24/7 care and support while accelerating critical research.
We are joining this fight to honor my mother-in-law, Chris Anne Shullick. After some testing was done in the fall of 2018, Chris was officially diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer's in January of 2019 at the young age of 56. This was a huge shock and a big blow to all who knew and loved Chris.
Anyone who has watched and cared for a loved one with Alzheimer's knows how awful and cruel of a disease this is. It took our beloved wife, mom, grandma, sister, aunt, and friend, from us long before we were ready. Chris put up a hell of a fight during her 4 year battle before we lost her on January 14, 2023.
By joining this walk, my husband Jordan and I want to show our four kids that we can do something to help end this disease. We want to honor Chris and do what we can to fight back.
Families facing Alzheimer’s and all other dementia need us — and with your help, we can be there for them. Please make a donation or join our team and register as a participant in the Walk to End Alzheimer's. We would love to have you with us on the walk day! Together, we can end Alzheimer’s disease.
Thank you for your support!
