Our team is small, but we are mighty and ready to bring Alzheimer’s and Dementia to an END!

These terrible diseases have affected our family on several levels.  Of course, everyone knows of my Mom, but maybe what you didn’t know is that there have been and are currently other members of our family and extended that have been affected by these diseases and are battling them today.

Our determination to END these diseases is yes, in honor of those family members, but it is also for the spouses, the daughters and sons, the grandchildren, the great-grandchildren, the brothers and sisters, the aunts and uncles.  When one member of the family is diagnosed it has a huge impact on the entire family both from an emotional standpoint and a financial one. The burdens that these caregivers take on are unmatched.

In 2024:

There are 6.9 million people over the age of 65 now living with Alzheimer’s Dementia.

1.83 million are aged 65-74

2.67 million are aged 75-84

2.42 million are aged 85 +

That is over 6.9 million families that are directly impacted by ALZ & Dementia.  

More than 11 million Americans provide unpaid care for a family member or friend with dementia, a contribution to the nation valued at nearly $350 billion.

This is just a small look into why we fight to raise funds so that one day in our lifetime will be able to look back at Alzheimer’s and Dementia as diseases that are no longer in existence.
