Welcome to our team page for the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer's®! Team Jeanna walks to honor the memory of my mom, Jeanna McKown. Mom was diagnosed with Alzheimers in 2015, at the age of 69. She was smart, beautiful, and otherwise very healthy. By 2022, just 7 years later, she was struggling to do daily care activities. We placed mom in a facility in March of 2023, and her body succumbed to the chaos in her brain October 9th, 2023.  Our hearts are broken.

Please help us raise money and awareness for the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association®. The walk is held annually in more than 600 communities nationwide, and our team participates this year, and in future years, to continually raise hope for a cure. 

Currently, more than 6 million Americans are living with Alzheimer's and over 11 million family and friends provide their unpaid care. We need your help to end this devastating disease.
