Our inspiration for joining The Walk to End Alzheimer's is our mom Anne Handy who left this earth on March 19,2023. Mom was diagnosed with Dementia and battled it for several years. She was a beautiful person, but the dementia destroyed her memory where she could not remember her worth on this earth, what she meant to her family and friends and that we loved her. We fought to find ways to help her but could not.  Our goal is to raise the awareness of Alzheimer's and Dementia and fund future research to end this disease.  We walk for mom and all of our friends that have fought this fight and are still fighting.
