October 6th is my mom's birthday and we can't think of a better way to honor her and our father/grandfather/great grandfather.     Mom passed away from Alzheimer's on August 12, 2009 and dad passed away on August 10, 2015.  Dad was an amazing caregiver to mom and a dedicated volunteer at the Alzheimer's Assn.
