I'm leading the way to Alzheimer's first survivor by participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's. Currently, more than 6 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 14 million by 2050. Our future and our children's future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
Together, we can end Alzheimer's disease. Please make a donation to find the first survivor! I am honoring my mom who passed away from this devastating disease on August 13, 2021. She suffered for more than 5 years and both her memory and her health declined over that time. She was a role model for me, my children, her 11 grandchildren, and 4 great grands. We miss her so much but know she is still near!
I am proud to serve on the board for the Alzheimer's Association for the past 6 years and this year, I am the Vice Chairperson.
You can join our team and walk at home or in another town or city (hint: Chicago, Colorado Springs or Scottsdale!) You know this organization is very important to our family! Just thinking about our family memories during that time will be enough!
