Guided by these three principles many Ashtabula County Medical Center caregivers' team up with other non-profit organizations that help advance healthcare throughout the year. I have had the privilege to work alongside the Alzheimer's Association as the 2023 and now, 2024 Team ACMC captain. The Alzheimer’s Association leads the way to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction, early detection, and maximizing quality care and support.

The Alzheimer's Association spends 79% on its funds on Alzheimer’s care, support, research, awareness, and advocacy. 17% goes towards fundraising and the other 4% goes towards administrative How many people are affected by Alzheimer’s? 1 in 5 women and 1 in 10 men are at risk for Alzheimer’s by age 45. 6.7 million individuals 65 years old and above have Alzheimer’s. 1 in 3 seniors die with Alzheimer’s or another form of dementia. More than 11 million Americans provide unpaid care for individuals with Alzheimer’s or other dementias.
My goal is to see a world without Alzheimer's!
