In May of 2011 the world lost a very special person to a disease that affects so many.  Grandma Gene was a wonderful soul who many would identify as a strong woman.  Not only had she fought breast cancer, but also colon cancer, had a pacemaker and other falls along the way.  Only none of these are what ultimately claimed her life.....

Fast forward to 4 years later and Alzheimer’s claimed the life of yet another strong woman…Rosie Clegg.  Maybe one of the strongest women I know was reduced to childlike character before She too lost her battle to Alzheimer’s.  This is why we walk! Please help us to raise the money to find a cure to end this disease so my children and yours never have to deal with this pain!
