Why "B's on Cue"?My Uncle B had a pool table and every time I'd visit them in Orlando, shooting pool with him was on my "must-do" list. The room that housed their table didn't exactly allow for regulation play when playing the long sides of the table, so we had our own set of rules (most of which were made as we went along) and while I no longer remember most of the rules, I remember laughing endlessly about the silly antics we performed. While his game was always "on queue", Alzheimer's stole this sharp wit and eventually his ability or desire to play pool with me. Still, I choose to remember who he was before and not during and after this horrible disease took him away from us.
If you would like to join B's on Cue, start your own team, or make a donation to the Walk to End Alzheimer's, please reach out. I'd love to help!!
