I am walking in his memory and am grateful for the ones I have of him.
I have been doing the Walk to End Alzheimer's since 2015 and since then have had friends love their family members through a diagnosis, watched friends' loved ones go in nursing homes, and even seen my own dad-in-law become an in-home caregiver to my mom-in-law. Knowing there is an organization out there that provides support and education to caregivers is a HUGE motivator for me to have a banner fundraising year in 2023!!
In 2020, I made the move from the Zanesville Walk to the Circleville Walk. Then, shutdowns made my Circleville Walk a virtual one. I serve on the Volunteer Committee, so I can also help you with Corporate donations, starting new teams, joining mine, or answer just about any question you may have. If I don't know, I happen to know people who do!!
Fast forward to 2024, the pain of Dementia/Alzheimer's has impacted my family and me once more. I always fundraise with a deep-rooted intention, but this year will definitely have more push.
Although the walk is called the Walk to End Alzheimer's, the Alzheimer's Association devotes itself to all areas of Dementia and memory loss through disease.
PLEASE consider a donation to my walk. Thank you!
