I have spent a majority of my career working in the field of Dementia Care. I have personally seen how Alzheimer's effects our elders and their families. I have lost more elders than I care to count to this devastating and heartbreaking disease. I know first hand how hard it is on families to slowly mentally lose their loved one. I know there is an end in sight with a bit more research.
Alzheimer’s isn’t stopping and neither are we. By participating in the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s, I’m raising funds and awareness to advance the fight against this disease — funds that allow the Alzheimer’s Association to provide 24/7 care and support while accelerating critical research.
