My father worked as a mechanical engineer for almost 40 years. I tried to follow in his footsteps, but ended up becoming a software engineer when I realized how difficult mechanical engineering was! The passion that he instilled in me for making and fixing things is still with me today. I find that passion through interests that include woodworking, car repairs, and home projects. 

My father passed away in July 2018 after living with Alzheimer's for more than ten years. I will never forget the legacy he passed on to me and that I'm now passing on to my children.
