Dressed in purple camo, the Amy's Army team in the Walk to End Alzheimer's was a top fundraiser in 2023. Organized in honor of Amy Shimkus, a nurse and caregiver herself for 48 years, our mom loved to participate in this walk because she knew this was something she could do to put a stop to this miserable disease!

In 2024, our goal is to raise even more money and we need your help. Join our team, make a donation, and invite others to participate. Every member of our team will get an Amy's Army shirt and every one who donates at least $50 will receive a copy of "I'm Not Ready for This," a book written by Todd Shimkus which describes what he learned about Alzheimer's, being a caregiver, and resilience.
