10/12/23 UPDATE: Mom is now in memory care and continues to succumb to the horrible disease that is destroying her brain. The good news is that she no longer remembers she has kidney disease so is eating well and has gained almost 10lbs. The bad news is that she is now on drugs to control her outbursts and is very unsteady on her legs so will be getting a wheelchair in the next couple of weeks.
PLEASE CONSIDER MAKING A DONATION TO THE ALZ ASSOCIATION TO HELP FIND A CURE!
Watching my mother develop dementia and early ALZ over the past two years has been gut wrenching, sad, and very difficult on my father and our entire family. The disease not only affects the individual but family, friends, and others.
By participating in the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s along with my fellow MUFG employees, I’m raising funds and awareness to advance the fight against this disease — funds that allow the Alzheimer’s Association to provide 24/7 care and support while accelerating critical research.
Families facing Alzheimer’s and all other dementia need us now more than ever — and with your help, we can be there for them.
Please make a donation or register as a participant and start your own fundraising. Together, we can end Alzheimer’s disease.
Thank you!
Scott
