For the past three years, my husband and I, along with my niece and nephew and my friend Lisa walk in honor of my mom and mother in law who are currently battling Alzheimer's and dementia. We also walk in memory of my beloved Aunt Janet, as well as Mimi Konig, Harold Balukas. These three wonderful people were beloved parents, aunts, uncles, siblings and friends and they are very loved and missed. Team Pizzaz won't stop raising funds and walking until we find a cure!

My mom has always been a woman with unconditional love for a family and friends. Besides working full-time my mom volunteered as a CCD teacher, a soccer coach, as well as volunteering at school. She taught us to have compassion towards others, help others when you can and she always put our needs before her own. She is a woman of strong faith and it is faith and hope that will get us through the days to come. Alzheimer's isn't stopping and neither are we. By participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's, I am raising funds and awareness to advance the fight against this disease - funds that allow the Alzheimer's Association to provide 24/7 care and support while accelerating critical research.
