In March 2023 our family lost our beloved husband, father and Nonno, Sam Vona, who suffered from Dementia.  The outpouring of support from our family and friends has meant so much to us.  Since Sam passed away, we have worked with the Alzheimer's Association to raise funds to help families like ours that have had to deal with a family member suffering from dementia.  Last year we raised over $30,000 and were the largest donor in Nassau County.  We are going to try and build on last year's success and will be participating again in this years Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's.  Please support our team any way you can and/or please join us that day to walk for Nonno Sam and for all families that struggle with this terrible disease.    

The Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's® is the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research.  If anyone has questions or would like to walk with our family that day please call Joe Vona and he can give more details.
