Throughout the journey, I’ve built my own Alzheimer's community by networking and finding resources to teach me what I needed to know. I have learned to be present and in the moment with Jim, every step of the way. As he declined in functionality, I've grown so much on many levels, transforming in ways I didn’t know I was capable. I am profoundly grateful for the Alzheimer's Association (AA) for all their education, programming and support! My caregiver's support group has been instrumental in helping me along the way. We all share our stories, listen carefully plus "give and receive" ideas and options for our own situations. I always feel much better after a meeting! Please join Team TEEM to help us fight this disease and to make our loved ones feel comfortable and nurtured. My objective has been to make Jim comfortable and happy; a good quality of life. After all, isn't that what it's all about? Please donate and/or walk with us (if you are able) to advance the care, support, and research efforts of the AA.
