Please support Team Karl and the entire Alzheimer's Association at the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's®, the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research.
My father, Karl Lasseter, suffered the last few years of his life from Alzheimer's before passing away in April 2020. It was a devasting disease for him and the entire family. This very intelligent man eventually didn't know who we were or where he was, and the slow decline was particularly difficult for him as he realized that he was losing his cognitive abilities.
The work of the Alzheimer's Association is absolutely critical both with regards to research into medical intervention for this awful disease, but also with the support that they provide to impacted families. I am proud to be a member of the Board of the Hudson Valley Chapter and am committed to helping them with their mission.
I hope that you will join me at the walk on October 1 in Westchester County, but I know that will be difficult for many of you. So if you cannot walk, please donate anyway to my team and my team members to help with this very important cause.
