More than 6 million Americans of all ages have Alzheimer's. An estimated 6.7 million Americans age 65 and older are living with Alzheimer's in 2023. Seventy-three percent are age 75 or older. About 1 in 9 people age 65 and older (10.7%) has Alzheimer's.
Thanks to the generosity of people like you, there was tremendous progress made in the fight against Alzheimer’s disease in 2023 ... but there is still so much more to do! Alzheimer's disease is a degenerative brain disease and the most common form of dementia. Dementia is not a specific disease. It's an overall term that describes a group of symptoms. By now, I believe almost everyone has been effected in some way by the devastating effects of these brain diseases.
Better yet, join my team and walk with me to end Alzheimer's.
I'm doing my part in this big fight, and asking for your help to lead the way in support of the Alzheimer's Association's efforts to treat, and cure this and other forms of dementia that so profoundly effect so many.
Thank you for joining the fight against Alzheimer's!
Rick
