Each year, my family and I participate in the Walk To End Alzheimer’s in loving memory of my mother, Helen Forman, who suffered from the devastating effects of AD for many years. Our goal was always to make sure that she had the very best care possible in an environment filled with love, respect, dignity and compassion, which she always extended to everyone in her wide circle of family and friends.

 I also walk in support of those individuals and their caregivers currently facing this difficult and heartbreaking challenge!

AD isn’t stopping and neither are we. By participating in the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s®, I’m raising funds and awareness to advance the fight against this disease — funds that allow the Alzheimer’s Association® to provide 24/7 care and support while accelerating critical research.

Families facing Alzheimer’s and all other dementias need us now more than ever — and with your help, we can be there for them.  Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
