To Our Family and Friends:

Our commitment to the Alzheimer's Association has been long-standing and quite personal to both of us. It goes back to the creation of the Association in 1980, after Stu's mother had been diagnosed with "early onset:" Alzheimer's; it resurfaced in the early 2000's as Stu's stepmother struggled with dementia; and it continued into the 2020's, as Lisa's mother spent 4 years in the memory care unit of an assisted living facility until she passed away last October.

And it is why we continue this journey to ensure that future generations will never have to face the frustration and emotional and financial toll that Alzheimer's Disease and related forms of dementia can have on a family.
