As a support group facilitator for almost four years, I have first hand experience with the tremendous amount of outreach and services the Alzheimer’s Association offers to patients and caregivers alike.
A few years post-pandemic, a shortage of qualified help for home bound patients still leaves many family members with the burden of around the clock care. It is physically and mentally exhausting and it is not unusual for caregivers to suffer declining health often coupled with anxiety and depression.
The Alzheimer’s Association has focused are keeping caregivers connected through a variety of programs. Of the many services that they provide, they also offer care consultation services, support groups, social engagement programming and a 24/7 helpline. Qualified professionals with a broad range of knowledge and experience are available to offer support with a clear understanding of the disease and services available so as to make caregiver planning and patient care less overwhelming.
Your commitment with a donation is ever so much more important now as Alzheimer’s disease continues to grow, and patients and caregivers are ever so much more reliant on the Alzheimer’s Associations support services.
I have no doubts that when I contribute to the Alzheimer’s Association, I am making a meaningful impact on Alzheimer’s patients and their caregivers’ life. Please join me as I continue to support the Alzheimer’s Association
Sincerely,
Renee Bachner
