I'm leading the way to Alzheimer's first survivor by participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's®. Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
0n Sept. 25, 2024, Judy, my wife of over 34 years, passed from Alzhiemers. She was diagnosed with this hideous disease more than 11 years ago and continued to 'fight the good fight’ until the end. I was amazed everyday by the strength and grace she exhibited as she confronted her terminal disease. I know no braver individual than her--she was the love of my life, a role model and my hero! I miss her terribly….
