My mom, Karen was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer's at the age of 58. Karen was and still is a force to be reckoned with, though it may look a little different now. 

OG Karen (pre diagnosis) was a coach, a mentor, and a church school teacher, all while balancing a demanding career in healthcare. She was so many things to so many people, but to us she will always be our mom who only wanted one thing: to have good kids.
