Shelly is just one of several clients that Nan's Neighbors has lost this year to this unforgiving disease.  This disease is both a blessing and a curse.  While I would not wish this upon anyone, I would not have had the good fortune to meet these incredibly beautiful aging adults I call my friends, like Mitch, Elly, Doris who also lost their battle this year.  We continue to count the blessings and friendships of Jack, Steve, Eileen, Lucille, Ellen, David, Herb, Marina, the list goes on and their caregivers as they fight in their courageous battle and honor the memories of those we have lost and their families.
