My mother, Marie, was diagnosed with Alzheimer's in early 2019. Over 4 years, I watched with sadness, her decline. We lost her in January 2023. My mother was a beautiful person. She was one of the kindest, most compassionate, and creative individuals I have ever known, As an art educator, she changed and inspired so many lives. I continue to live through her spirit every day and carry her zest for life and beauty with me.
I hope with continued research we can find ways to prevent and slow this terrible disease. I have recently become involved in the NJ Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association. Please help me in raising funds or walk with me in Marie's Memory.
Alzheimer’s isn’t stopping and neither are we. By participating in the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s, I’m raising funds and awareness to advance the fight against this disease — funds that allow the Alzheimer’s Association to provide 24/7 care and support while accelerating critical research.
Families facing Alzheimer’s and all other dementia need us now more than ever — and with your help, we can be there for them. Please make a donation or register as a participant and start your own fundraising. Together, we can end Alzheimer’s disease.
Thank you!
Sara
