Support my team for the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's, the world's largest events to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer's care, support and research.
More than 6 million American's are living with Alzheimer's disease, which affects 1 in 3 people in the communities where we work and live.
This means this disease is personal to so many people.
For me, it's my father Richard who is and has always been more than a father to me (mentor, friend (later in life), concert and sports event buddy and many many others), who has been battling this disease for over five years. He was officially diagnosed with Alzheimer's after a brief stay in the hospital and then months later also diagnosed with Lewy Body Dimentia.
I have seen firsthand how this disease strips those with it of all their thoughts, memories, relationships and ultimately of everything that made them who they are/were. The toll it takes on the caregivers is unrelenting and unforgiving.
My intentions are pure, simple and naive. Help raise enough money so we live in a world without Alzheimer's.
Thank you for rallying around this cause. Your donation will play an important role in improving the lives of people living with Alzheimer's, their families and caregivers.
Together we can beat Alzheimer's!!!!!
