For many years the Walk to End Alzheimer's was a non-profit supported by the Pilot Club of Gastonia.  After disbanding in June of 2015, Joanne has kept a "team" going to raise funds.  The new name of this team is "Retiree Friends" and is open to anyone (retired or not) who would like to support this worthy cause.
