My team is in memory of my mother, Sandi Appel.  My sister and I lost our mother long before she passed away.  That's how very cruel of a disease Alzheimer's is, both to the patient and to their family.  I can not tell you how difficult it was to walk into the nursing home and see my mother's face light up as she knew I was someone she knew but had no idea who I actually was much less articulate it. 

As it gets closer to walk time, I'll be certain and glad to share all the meetup details, CDC guidelines regarding masks, etc.  Don't forget - the more the merrier!
