Watching Alzheimer's take away my grandmothers' memories was one of the hardest things I've ever experienced. Peggy Gore and Janet Allred are remarkable women, full of love and wisdom, and seeing them slowly lose pieces of themselves was heart-wrenching. I miss them every day, but I hold the cherished memories of our time together close to my heart.

In their honor, I have created a team for the Walk to End Alzheimer's. Our goal is to raise $2,000, and my personal aim is to contribute $100. This cause means the world to me, and I am asking for your support. Whether it's through financial donations, sharing this post, or offering words of encouragement, your support means everything.

Alzheimer’s isn’t stopping and neither are we. By participating in the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s, I’m raising awareness and funds to advance the fight against this disease — funds that allow the Alzheimer’s Association to provide 24/7 care and support while accelerating critical research. Families facing Alzheimer’s and all other dementia need us — and with your help, we can be there for them.
