Alzheimer's isn't waiting and neither am I! My Mama, Gwendolyn Saunders Bryson Moten, transitioned from this devastating disease on Friday, January 13, 2012. She was a feisty lady, extraordinary cook, loved her family/friends dearly and sang solos in her church choir, Epworth United Methodist in Gastonia, NC. A favorite solo she sang was: If I Can Help Somebody! The lyrics are: If I can help somebody, as I pass along; if I can cheer somebody, with a word or song; if I can show somebody, who is traveling wrong, then my living shall not be in VAIN. This was my Mama's legacy...helping others. So now, I want to continue her legacy by raising funds to fight Alzheimer's. Mama would help anybody and loved her family beyond measure. She was the go-to-person for advice in the family and she is sorely missed.
This disease affects the entire family.... not just the person with Alzheimer's. Funds raised in the Walk to End Alzheimer's will provide 24/7 care and support to families experiencing ALZ while accelerating critical research. Families facing Alzheimer’s and all other dementia need us now more than ever and with your help, we can be there for them.
Please make a donation and together, we can end Alzheimer’s disease...making the White Flower (Alzheimer's Survivor) a REALITY!
Thank you!
