Welcome to the Duke UNC ADRC Blue Walkers page. Stationed in Durham and Chapel Hill, the Duke-UNC Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center (ADRC) is committed to the fight against Alzheimer’s Disease (AD) through education and innovative research aimed at untangling the early- and mid-life signs of AD as well as how factors such as race, ethnicity, and geographic inequality may contribute to the development of AD.
Currently, more than 6 million Americans are living with Alzheimer's and over 11 million family and friends provide their unpaid care. We're walking to build community around fighting Alzheimer's and also to raise funds. Join us for either or both. Your kindness and generosity truly make a difference in the fight against Alzheimer’s and all other dementia. Thank you for your support!
