Alzheimer’s isn’t stopping and neither are we. By participating in the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s, I’m raising awareness and funds to advance the fight against this disease — funds that allow the Alzheimer’s Association to provide 24/7 care and support while accelerating critical research.
My dad was diagnosed a little over a year ago with this disease. We watched my grandfather "Buddy" suffer and eventually succumb to this disease years ago, and my uncle Randy, my dad's younger brother, is also fighting this disease. My goal is to help raise funding so that one day, families won't have to see their loved ones fight and eventually suffer from this horrible disease.
