The Willard Forget-Me Not team is walking in memory of our loved ones who currently have Alzheimer's/dementia or who have deceased from this disease. By participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's, we're committed to raising awareness and funds for Alzheimer research, care and support.
Family & friends, please join us, September 23, 2023, for Springfield's Walk to End Alzheimer's at Jordan Valley Park. I walk in memory of my dear, sweet husband, Chuck Bourbina. He was able to participate in the 2012 Walk, but on June 17, 2013, Chuck's earthly life ended at the age of 68.
Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
We would appreciate your show of support by donating or walking with our Willard Forget-Me-Not team. Donations will help the Alzheimer's Association's advance research into prevention, treatments and a cure for Alzheimer's & related dementias. For the millions already affected by the disease, the Association offers care, education, support and resources in communities nationwide.
Thank you for joining our movement! The end of Alzheimer's disease starts here.
