I am participating in the Walk to End Alzheimer's this fall to honor my mom who suffers from this horrible disease and my dad who is her caregiver and life-long soulmate. Most people's lives have been touched, or will be in the future, in some way by Alzheimer's or dementia. My wish is that by participating and fundraising, I can help support more research to hopefully one day develop a cure or at least better treatment options for those that suffer.
Caregivers are angels on earth. Please always keep them in your thoughts as they truly suffer right along with their loved ones. Simple acts of kindness can make a world of difference.
