Marilyn's life was full of activity after we met in 1990. We shared many memorable moments together, forming a bond closer than friendship, more akin to sisterhood.
As Marilyn's health declined, her family and I saw her confusion and forgetfulness in everyday activities and provided help.
After 4 long years struggling with this disease, it had taken a toll on her body.
During our last days together, I watched in sorrow as she slowly faded away.
This beautiful, fun loving friend of mine for more than 30 years did not deserve this ending. I witnessed as she was slowly passing to her next life, and I prayed she would be well, and free from suffering.
Tragically, I lost my grandfather, Rudolph, and best friend, and now two aunts are fighting dementia. Let's work together to end this suffering.
