This year the leaders of the Order of the Eastern Star in Minnesota have made Alzheimer's one of their special projects.  We (members and their friends) are encouraged to support their project in any way we are able. There are many needs - education to inform the public about this disease, support to families dealing whe loved ones having alzheimers or dementia, and research to find better treatment and potential cures for this disease. All of these are addressed by the Alzheimers Association

Please lend your support to the Alzheimers Association by joining our Eastern Star Team for the Twin Cities, or by a monetary sponsorship of one of our team members.  We walk together toward a cure!

As team captain, I also walk in memory of my own mother, lost to dementia during my time as Worthy Grand Matron of Minnesota, and many friends supporting family with this disease.
