I would love if you could join me and my family on Saturday, September 17th for the Walk to end Alzheimer’s. It will be held back at Target Field, so that we may all join up as a community once again. Registration starts at 8am, with the starting ceremony at 9am. Please hit the link to join my team and sign up for the walk. I would love if you would support my efforts by making a donation on my fundraising page to raise funds and awareness for Alzheimer's care, support and research.
This year I have designed t-shirts for those that want to walk with me. The link is below, place your order now. Order for t-shirts closes on August 12th. https://www.customink.com/g/qdm0-00ck-80xy

My Gigi (Grandmother), Arlie Peltier, succumbed to Alzheimers on October 16th, 2021 at 5pm. Her body and mind are finally at peace.
We have had to say good bye in so many different ways over the past 10 years. Alzheimers has a way of taking your loved one, piece by piece. At times the pieces were small and seemingly insignificant - the loss of a word or forgetting a phone number from memory. But they continued to accumulate with each passing day, until finally she no longer recognized those she knew and loved most. It was at times heart wrenching and beautiful, because for all the things that Alzheimers was able to strip away from my dear Gigi - it could not take away her essence, which was pure joy & love. Even in her last weeks, her sweet and gentle nature were evident and could not be clouded by the disease.
She has touched my life in countless ways and is responsible for a great deal of the person I am today. While I long for her loving smile, generous hugs, her delicious baking and singing together by the piano or campfire - the memories we shared will help drive me to work even harder to help find a cure for Alzheimer's and help other families effected by the disease.
Your donation to the Alzheimer's Association will help fund research and provide resources for those with the disease and their caregivers. I really appreciate your support of this cause, that is near and dear to my heart! I have made my goal $71,000 - in honor of the 71 years she graced this earth.
I know that you have many choices of where to give and make an impact. Thank you for considering the Alzheimers Association.
