Hello friends & family! This is my 2nd year walking, and first creating a team called Forget Me Not. I'm walking for my mom, my husband's aunt and his grandmother, who passed away many years ago from this terrible, degenerative disease. You don't think it will happen in your family, until it does.
Families facing Alzheimer’s and all other dementia need us now more than ever — and with your help, we can be there for them. The Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer's®! Walk is the largest event to raise funds and awareness for the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association®. It’s held annually in more than 600 communities nationwide!
Currently, more than 6 million Americans are living with Alzheimer's and over 11 million family and friends provide their unpaid care. We need your help to end this devastating disease.
