Well, I'm at it again! On September 21, 2024, I'll be participating in my 9th Walk to End Alzheimer's-Twin Cities! I began walking and volunteering when my mother, Myrna was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. She died in 2018 of heart complications. I am grateful she passed before the disease had a chance to progress and take its toll on her body, mind and spirit.
At the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's, we're fighting for a different future. For families facing the disease today. For more time and more treatments.
I have exciting news to share! In 2023 The Walk to End Alzheimer's raised a record-shattering $100 million - enabling the Alzheimer's Association to deliver 24/7 care and support, advocate fearlessly for people facing the disease and fuel groundbreaking research across the globe! This would not have been possible without the generosity of our donors, so let me say thank you so much for your continued support!
The end of Alzheimer's disease starts with you. Please consider making a donation to help the Alzheimer's Association advance research into methods of treatment, prevention and, ultimately, a cure.
I would love to have company on the Walk, so if you live in the Twin Cities, please consider joining my team (Memories of Myrna) on this worthwhile event!
Love,
Jodi
