DEB'S PERSONAL MESSAGE: I know Alzheimer's.  My Aunt Audrey had it.  It's heartbreaking when you see the confusion on the faces of people you love as they try desperately to remember who you are & why you're in their home.  On the last visit to Florida to visit my aunt - she knew I was familiar but couldn't quite put together that I was her niece. She & her husband had invited Marissa & me to come.  Now my sister, Audrey, is in the stages of memory loss. She lives with me so I see it on a daily basis. It's a terrible disease.
