Alzheimer’s isn’t stopping and neither are we. By participating in the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s, I’m raising funds and awareness to advance the fight against this disease — funds that allow the Alzheimer’s Association to provide 24/7 care and support while accelerating critical research.
I lost my mother, Louise, to dementia during my year as Worthy Grand Matron of Minnesota Order of the Eastern Star (2009). I was honored to serve on the Eastern Star International Alzheimers project from 2013 thru 2015, and learned a lot about Alzheimers and related diseases over those years. Like cancer, we all have several friends or family affected by this disease. The support for education and research provided by the Alzheimers Association is very important to the treatment and future cure of this set of diseases.
Please lend your support to this endeavor!!
