Team McQ is raising funds in honor of Mike McQuiston (known as McQ) and his wife Darci Strutt. McQ was selected as the North Hudson Pepper Fest King in 2006, and Darci was sashed as the St. Paul Winter Carnival Klondike Kate in 2009. 

McQ was diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer's Disease in 2014, after searching for answers for 4 years. He was released from Alzheimer's disease after a 14-year journey on January 26, 2024. After his diagnosis, Darci and McQ received information, resources, and support from the Alzheimer's Association. 

Community service was the heartbeat of McQ's life, and he enjoyed making a difference. Contributions to Team McQ in memory of Mike will help his memory live on by assisting the Alzheimer's Association with its important work.
